George, the Orc Barista: Echoes of the Valley (a Troll Opera)
The café fell silent as a Troll stepped onto the stage. The backdrop magically transformed into a panoramic view of a majestic mountain range. The snow-capped peaks glistened under the moonlight. The magical orchestra began a somber, melancholic tune, setting the stage for the Troll’s operatic performance.
Troll (Baritone):
From these peaks so high, where the eagles fly,
I gaze at the land below and let out a sigh.
The mountains, so grand, with their icy hand,
Hold me captive in this rocky land.
The cold, it bites, on the endless nights,
And the thin air fills me with fright.
I long for the green, for rivers unseen,
For a life in the valley, serene.
Chorus (Sopranos and Tenors):
Echoes of the valley, calling him home,
Away from the mountain, he wishes to roam.
To dance with the trees and sing with the breeze,
To be free from these heights and all their unease.
