Orc Café Adventures — Chapter 6
Richard woke to the tantalizing aroma of bacon, eggs, and freshly brewed coffee. He eagerly anticipated breakfast and his first of many cups of coffee. He left his tent to find the twins cooking. Bob was setting up his table while Rose brewed the coffee. She took to the job of coffee maker and appeared to be enjoying herself.
“Morning, chief!” Shouted Rose.
“Morning, chief!” Shouted the others.
Richard sat at one of the tables, and Rick brought two plates full of bacon and eggs with two slices of toast. Rose brought two cups of coffee and sat across from Richard. She pushed one of the mugs to him. He happily grabbed the mug and dug into his breakfast. Once they finished, Mick collected the dishes. Richard felt today was going to be a great day.
“Excuse me!” a human voice called out. Richard watched as a human male bypassed the line of imps that had lined up and began buying their breakfast. “I’m looking for a manager or someone in charge.” The man said as he approached Bob.
“I am Bob,” Bob said, giving the man a stern glare.
“Ah yes, the great orc Bob. I’ve heard of you,” the man said with a smile. “I’m Mayor Hamilton.”
