Summer’s Vengeance
The storm clouds rolled about
Bumping into each other.
Thunder grumbled then roared out
While lightening streaked out farther.
The storm clouds became hushed
And the wind softly whistled.
Suddenly the clouds parted
And sunlight streamed downward.
Sunlight burst upon the land,
Cutting the gloom with vengeance.
The storm retreated, banned
By sweet summer’s emergence.
